Appraisals
Due to the non-profit organization--Haitian Art Appraisal Society (HAAS), operating as Haitian Art Education and Appraisal Society (HAEAS--that Marcel Wah has founded, we cannot offer any appraisals on Haitian art in order to avoid the appearance of conflict of interest. Besides begin affiliated with HAEAS, Marcel is also an Associate Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and has completed The Appraisal of Fine Art course offered by ISA.

When HAEAS is launched, the organization will offer training to those interested in becoming fine art appraisals with a focus on Haitian art. The newly trained appraisers willl be able to conduct appraisals for the purposes of insurance, donations, estates/estate planning, equitable distribution, and damage and loss. Appraisal reports written by a HAEAS member must comply with the standards set forth in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice of the Appraisal Foundation and by the Appraisers Association of America.

To receive more information when HAEAS is operational, please feel free to contact us.
